Captain Jack has over 30 years of cruising experience. Just a few highlights include several crossings of the Atlantic Ocean and a trip during which he sailed from France, across the Atlantic Ocean, across the Indian Ocean and ended up in Australia. His latest adventure was as the skipper of a boat in South America as he led a crew through the Patagonia Channels from Puerto Mont to Puerto Williams in Chile, and successfully rounded Cape Horn, every sailor’s dream.
My fascination with sailing started a long time ago on a local lake in south Poland. In the years since then, I have passed every level of sailing education and practice, and in 1974, I became an Ocean-going Yacht Master of the Polish Yachting Association.
My fascination with sailing started in the seventies. I started by racing various types of dinghies, especially the OK dinghy class, and had my first offshore sailing experience twenty years ago.
